Expert opinions
An expert opinion on a specific question — value, damage, loss — substantiated by calculation and sources. At the request of a client, the parties and their lawyers, or by a court ruling or investigative body decision.
What an expert opinion is
A valuation report determines the value of an object. An expert opinion answers a specific question: what is the amount of damage, is restoration possible and what will it cost, what was the value of the property on the date of the event, what is the amount of lost profit. The question is put by the client, the parties or the court; the answer is given with the calculation, sources and method stated.
Five situations
Damage to a vehicle
After a road accident: cost of repair, loss of market value, and in the event of a total loss — market value on the date of the event and salvage value. For settlements with the insurer, the party at fault and the court.
Damage to property
The amount of damage to an apartment, house, commercial premises and equipment from flooding, fire, construction defects and other events.
Lost profit
Calculation of income that could have been earned but was lost through breach of contract, suspension of activity and other events.
Value of property on a given date
Determination of the value of property on a past date (the date of an event, death or transaction) in inheritance, division, dispute and other cases.
Condition of fixed assets
For institutions and organisations — a specialist opinion on the condition and write-off of equipment, machinery and other fixed assets (see “Consulting”).

Our expert opinions are prepared on the instruction of courts, prosecution and police bodies and other state authorities.
